How to Order

In this section you will view EJ Kids policies on;
1) How to Order-incl'g Payment (A)Credit Card, (B)Cheque/Mail Order OR (C)Direct Debit Payment
2) Returns & Exchanges
3) Packaging and
4) Privacy

In order to make the payment process as easy as possible for you we have selected three payment options for you to choose from;
(A) Credit Card
(B) Mail Order Cheque/Money Order OR
(C) Direct Debit

In all cases, the Emily-Jane order will ONLY be dispatched once payment has been received by us.

Should you run into difficulty at any stage during the ordering/payment process; you can contact us or please call us during office hours on +61 (0)41 6622 534. Office hours are between 9am and 5pm AEST Monday to Friday

(A) To order an item using Credit Card Payment;


PLEASE NOTE: that EJ Kids uses 'PayPal'. as it's secure credit card transaction service. When you Place an Order, this is what you will see;

PayPal account holders; enter your PayPal account details, OR
Direct Credit Card payments; Choose the "Don't have a PayPal account- Click here"option. AND,
Select 'Pay by Credit Card' as the payment type to make a direct cc payment.

  • Once you have selected the catalogue category from the main menu tabs i.e. Baby/Girls (or alternatively you may select a category/an item through our 'Search' function tab) and the item you would like to purchase appears on your screen,

  • Select the 'Place Order' tab on the right of the screen under the stock available information.

  • Complete the Order Information section by selecting your preferred Colour, Size and Postage options.

  • Select 'Add to Cart'; you are now transferred to the secure transactions PayPal website.

  • Should there be any variance in postage charges at the checkout stage we will contact you (within 24 hours, Monday to Friday) by email to advise of the actual cost of postage before dispatching your purchase.

    NOTE: EXPRESS POST OPTION IS NOT AVAILABLE DURING SALE PERIODS


  • You can then select "View Cart" to display the contents of your shopping cart at any time.

  • You may either 'Continue Shopping' and be returned to the EJ Kids website catalogue,
    OR
    complete your order by selecting 'Secure Checkout' and follow the Paypal website prompts.

Please Note: PayPal/Credit Card transactions will incur an additional 2.4% fee.

(B) To order an item using Mail Order Cheque/Money Order Payments;

  • Once you have selected the catalogue category from the main menu tabs i.e. Baby/Girls (or alternatively you may select a category/an item through our 'Search' function tab) and the item you would like to purchase appears on your screen;

  • Select the 'Place Order' tab on the right of the screen under the stock available information.

  • Complete the Order Information section by selecting your preferred Colour, Size and Postage options.

  • Select "Add to Cart".

  • You can then select "View Cart" to display the contents of your shopping cart at any time.

  • You may either 'Continue Shopping' and be returned to the EJ Kids website catalogue,
    OR
    Print the completed 'Paypal' shopping cart page.

  • * Please add postage charges of $5.00 for Purchases under $50.00 OR $10.00 for Purchases over $50.00 to your Cheque/Money order total. (For international orders please refer to Shipping and Delivery for postage and packing charges)

  • You will then need to mail the printed copy of your shopping cart page along with your delivery address details with payment by Cheque or Money Order to:

  • Alternatively, you can download and print our order form here and fill out your order details manually and mail with payment by Cheque/Money Order to the above address.

    OR if you have the electronic facility to scan the printed copy of your shopping cart/order details form and email it as an attachment to aoibhe@emilyjane.com.au along with your delivery address details.

(C) To order an item using Direct Debit:

  • Once you have selected the catalogue category from the main menu tabs i.e. Baby/Girls (or alternatively you may select a category/an item through our 'Search' function tab) and the item you would like to purchase appears on your screen;

  • Select the 'Place Order' tab on the right of the screen under the stock available information.

  • Complete the Order Information section by selecting your preferred Colour, Size and Postage options.

  • Select "Add to Cart".

  • You can then select "View Cart" to display the contents of your shopping cart at any time.

  • You may either 'Continue Shopping' and be returned to the EJ Kids website catalogue OR Print the completed 'Paypal' shopping cart page.

  • * Please add postage charges of $5.00 for Purchases under $50.00 OR $10.00 for Purchases over $50.00 to your Direct Debit order total. (For international orders please refer to Shipping and Delivery for postage and packing charges)

  • You will then need to mail the printed copy of your shopping cart page along with your delivery address details to the below address.

Returns and exchanges:

If an item is damaged or faulty, please notify us within 3 days of receipt of order.

The easiest way is to call +61 (0)41 66 22 534 and you will be provided with a return confirmation number (RCN).

No products will be accepted for a return or exchange without a RCN.

We will replace or refund any faulty products and pay for the return freight, on receipt and evaluation of the goods. Please include written documentation as to what is wrong with the goods.


No returns will be accepted, refunded or exchanged because you have had a 'change of mind'.
No returns wil be accepted, refunded or exchanged if the item has been worn/used


If you want to exchange an item for any other reason, you will be required to pay the freight and we should receive the goods back in the original mint condition, unworn, unwashed AND in the original condition packaging.

Packaging

Each EJ Kids order will arrive to its destination protected by Australia Post’s envelope and pre wrapped in EJ Kids signature gift wrap.

Privacy

EJ Kids highly regards our client relationships, and quite often these relationships have been built on a foundation of trust. Information collected from our clients will be handled sensitively and securely and with proper regard for privacy. EJ Kids supports the 'National Privacy Principles' launched in December 2001. These policies form the principles of our Privacy Policy, which is set out below.

The information you provide to us is used for billing and delivery purposes and to measure customer interest in our products. The information provided is only viewed by EJ Kids staff that necessarily has to do so for the sole purpose of completing a business transaction for sale or purchase.

You may provide us with your email address. We will only ever use your email address so that we can (a.) contact you about your order or answer a query, or (b.) send you special offers from time to time if you've opted to join the Mailing List. Your email address is private and we will never sell it to third parties.

Any personal information that you give us is private. We will never release personal information to persons or entities without your explicit consent. Exceptions to this are

(a.) where Emily-Jane clothing is required by law to disclose certain information.

(b.) if you have ordered a product from us that requires personalization, or delivery to you by an external company.

As part of the National Privacy Principles, customers can advise us at any time if they;

(a.) do not wish to receive any information from any related party or promotion partners, or if they;

(b.) no longer wish to receive product information from EJ Kids.

Customers can advise us of either of the above by telephone during office hours 9am and 5.30pm AEST Monday to Friday. (+61 (0)41 66 22 534) or email aoibhe@emilyjane.com.au. If a customer advises us that they no longer wish to receive product information from Emily-Jane clothing, we will ensure their name is also never passed to reputable companies with interesting product offers.

Customers can advise us accordingly if any of their information requires updating.

EJ Kids uses the industry standard of "cookies" to make our website perform better. A "cookie" is a feature built into your existing browser that assigns you a "user ID". Cookies are used to follow the pattern of movements of web users. Cookies let us know which pages on our website are visited, in what order and how often. By themselves, cookies can't be used to discover your identity; they merely identify your computer to our servers when you visit us. Cookies only provide us aggregate statistical data, and are not used to record any personal information such as your name, address or e-mail address. If you are unhappy about having a cookie assigned to you, you can set your browser to refuse cookies.

We will take all reasonable steps to ensure that all information we collect, use or disclose is accurate, complete, up-to-date and stored in a secure environment accessed only by authorised persons. Transmissions sent to you from Emily-Jane Clothing are internally monitored for quality control and systems administration.

We also value the privacy and security of your online purchases and use PayPal for online transactions via our site.
